Happy Birthday to Me

“Just take a look back! See how far you’ve come.”

It’s the same damn wall, man. Looks like the paint is still fresh. And you know what? Nothing ever really changes, even if they say change is the only constant; they’re lying. Entropy is increasing. That’s for sure. Look at my beard. Same style since class 12th. Dhoni once copied this—this facial arrangement of mine—looks great on me, right? Haha! And you know who else was born on 13th Feb? Kelly Hu!

“Kelly, who?”

Sarojini Naidu was born today. There was this poem in my school. In The Bazaars of Hyderabad.
What do you chant, O magicians?
Spells for aeons to come.

I’ve been chanting—reciting—a song to myself! Not a song, but a prayer! Or merely words—And I can feel the magic as some of my speculations are finding their way out in nature’s scheme. Some of my thoughts have already come to fruition. And—

“Wait, I’m still stuck on Dhoni!”

Isn’t everyone? Aah. New Zealand. And as I told you in the beginning, nothing changes—and you will never see me asserting any statement with so much certitude. And these incoherent thoughts; futile attempts to form an argument and give a cohesive speech; talking recklessly—my strongest suit—that’s all I live by. Don't you think that it's boring how people talk? Making smart with their words—this is Lorde I just quoted. You can google it later. This class clown shall take your leave—in search of his BEAUTY QUEEN. I’m happy.

“Okay, Man! Enjoy. Thanks for the treat. Happy Birthday Once Again!”

My birthday isn’t today.
